Weekly Titrations to Track Total Alkalinity in the Coral Polyp Bailout Tank System

Goal

Conduct weekly titrations to track the total alkalinity of the polyp bailout tank system located on the bottom floor of the Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences at URI. Hollie and Hannah are conducting an experiment on the dynamics of coral polyp bailout that requires stable tank conditions.

Process

Each week, triplicate water samples will be collected from the tank system and brought back to lab for titration runs.

All samples will be processed following the established Putnam Lab Titrator Protocol.

All data processed and collected on the Putnam Lab Titrator will be available on the Putnam Lab Titrator GitHub Repository.
